JavaScript Job: Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer - Fully Remote – UK Based
We’re looking a UK based Full Stack Developer to come and join our growing team. You will be required to help us with the development of our new live streaming and media collaboration platform, ioLive. The product is currently working towards a wider public release while also working with international clients to deliver high end live streams. You will be tasked with helping implement improvements, and maintaining the code across the full stack. As a member of our small team, you will have the opportunity to be creative with the opportunity to give input and suggestions to build out the software. You must be able to problem solve and suggest your own solutions to key issues.

This offers you great flexibility with your day to ensure you can get your work done based on your lifestyle. Whilst we operate on a 40-hour week, ROWE offers you the chance to manage your workload and get it done anytime of the day – no one is tied to core working hours here.

What is ioLive?

ioLive is a live streaming and media collaboration software intended to be the go-to destination for web-based event creation. ioLive gives users the ability to create unique live event experiences that include live content mixing, image and video repositories to store and arrange the content for your live stream, as well as, a robust tagging feature to help organise and prepare content for a live stream.

Your Key Responsibilities
You will be part of a small team that will help the grow the product through new features whilst also maintaining and updating existing features. This will include supporting customers through issues and tickets submitted via our feedback tools. You will also be responsible for testing and deployment of new revisions and features.

Our Tech Stack
Our tech stack consists of:

Infrastructure: AWS S3, AWS CloudFormation, AntMedia, Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Encode, DynamoDB, MongoDB Atlas

Backend: Node.js, Express, AuthZero

Frontend: React, Three.js, WebRTC

Your Skills and Experience

• Prior experience as a software developer
• Complete proficiency in modern JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks, such as React.
• Experience using Node.js with the Express framework.
• Understanding of how to structure and optimise document-based databases (MongoDB or similar)
• Working within an agile development environment using remote collaboration tools, including using git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to work with international development teams
• Highly desirable – interest in working with real-time communications protocols such as WebRTC, Websockets, AntMedia.

Location – UK Based Fully Remote (Company based in Greater Manchester)
Salary - £50k - 65k (depending on experience)
Holiday - 28 days + Bank Holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
